Speaking Engagements
Sean Wrench is the founder and executive director of Forsaken Generation. In 3 years the impact that Forsaken Generation has made throughout the U.S. has been profound. Sean is currently leading an effort in partnership with John’s Hopkins University to create the first ever national study that will show the correlations between youth homelessness and child sex trafficking in the U.S. Upon completion this study will be the first of its kind and will have a profound impact on future efforts to help these children who so desperately need our help.
Most recently Sean spoke at a U.S. Congressional hearing that was a reintroduction of the DMST Deterrence and Victim Support Act S.596. Sean has spoken at colleges and churches throughout the country bringing the message of Forsaken Generation to thousands.
Sean’s efforts with Forsaken Generation have been reported on by Forbes.com, The Huffington Post, The Florida Times Union, Fox News, USA Today and Relevant Magazine.
2 years ago Sean created the event Freedom Walk. Freedom Walk is a national event that takes place on July 4th. The purpose of the event is to raise awareness to the horrors of domestic child sex trafficking. The event is held on July 4th to make a statement that on a day when our country celebrates Freedom, hundreds of thousands of children right here in the U.S. are not free, they are child sex slaves. This past year Freedom Walk took place in over 60 U.S. cities including New York, Dallas, Miami, Jacksonville, San Diego, San Francisco, Phoenix and many more. News of Freedom Walk spread and we even were joined by individuals living in the U.K., Philippines, Australia, Scotland, and South Africa.
Forsaken Generation currently has a network of over 17,000 shelters across the U.S. and through a partnership with Clear Channel Communications we have launched a national effort to drive much needed volunteer support to many of these organizations.
Testimonials:
