Holiday of Hope 2012

For most children that are homeless, Christmas is just another day of the year. They don’t wake up to a beautifully decorated tree, there will be no stocking hung wherever they find a place to sleep. The eager anticipation of opening presents isn’t even a thought for them. For millions of homeless children there simply will be no Christmas.

For 3 years now Forsaken Generation has been working to change that. Our annual Holiday of Hope event is specifically a huge Christmas party just for children that are homeless.

On Sunday, December 23rd, 2012 Forsaken Generation will host their 4th annual Holiday of Hope event. Holiday of Hope events are taking place in multiple locations across the U.S. For cities that are not hosting Holiday of Hope events we are asking that people would collect toys for us to provide to children in homeless shelters.

What is Holiday of Hope?

Holiday of Hope is a Christmas event for families and children who are homeless We work directly with local agencies who are working with the families to ensure that those who attend really need to be there.

At the event we provide a huge buffet dinner, free haircuts and chair massages, make up and style for the ladies, games for the kids, a bounce house, face painting, popcorn and cotton candy, live Christmas music, free professional family portraits, and toys for all the kids !!!!

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer coordinator in your city and helping us host a Holiday of Hope event in 2011 contact us today ! Our goal for 2012 is to have 20 cities throughout the U.S. hosting Holiday of Hope events.
